7.14 Profile Settings
This function allows you to save personalized camera settings, so they can be copied easily to other
cameras in the circuit.
However, available functions will be limited to time zone, video settings, sensitivity settings, e-mail
settings, overwrite settings.

Troubleshooting

•
The app cannot find the CAMIP21 camera.
Make sure your network supports the DHCP protocol.
o
Make sure the camera and your mobile device are connected to the same Wifi router.
o
Make sure to activate the router.
o
Make sure the camera is powered and switched on.
o
Use the Add Camera function to manually add the camera.
o
•
The Wifi router is not shown in the list.
Enable the SSID broadcasting function in the Wifi router. Consult the user manual of the
o
router.
Change the wireless security protocol of your Wifi router into WPA/WPA2/WPA2-PSK. For
o
security reasons, the WEP protocol is not suggested for some router.
•
No image.
Make sure the camera is powered and switched on.
o
Relocate the camera to obtain the best wireless reception.
o
Make sure your CAMIP21 camera is properly configured.
o
Make sure your mobile device is connected properly to 3G/4G/Wifi.
o
•
Low signal/poor image quality.
Wireless devices such as wireless stereo systems may cause interference. Leave as much space
o
as possible between the CAMIP21 camera and other wireless devices.
Clean the camera lens. Spots or dust on the lens reduce the image quality.
o
•
The motion detection function does not work properly.
Make sure to select the correct sensitivity setting.
o
•
The app does not record video clips.
Make sure to insert the SD card correctly.
o
Make sure to enable the motion detection function.
o
Format the SD card prior to first use.
o
Use a Class 10 memory card.
o

The e-mail alert function does not work.
Makes sure to enable the e-mail alert function.
o
We suggest using a properly configured gmail account.
o
•
The night vision images are maculated with bright white spots.
The IR LEDs may reflect off surfaces such as glass. Install your CAMIP21 camera in such way
o
to improve the night vision.
•
Memory card error.
Make sure the memory card is correctly inserted and formatted.
o
Use a Class 10 memory card for best results.
o
•
Wrong time and date display.
Select the correct time zone.
