5.6.2 Extras/ Settings

These settings are guideline specific and depend on the guideline of the actually loaded
measurement. The user can modify the scaling and setting values which are not defined in
the standard the guideline is based on.
Changes are only valid after you quit the window with the OK button. Other measurements
are not affected. If the parameters shall be changed for future measurements, the actual
setting must be stored as default.
Scaling:
Scaling changes the graphic representation of measured data. Time and force axes can be
automatically scaled or scaled with fixed parameters. In general, it is better to have fixed
scaling in order to be able to compare different measurement diagrams.
Limits:
Limits defined by the standard the guideline is based cannot be modified (grey
representation). Values not defined in the standard can be modified (black representation).

5.6.3 Sensor/ Configuration

Important: For configuring the sensor, the display unit has to be connected to the PC and the
sensor has to be connected to the display unit. The display unit has to be turned on.
The configuration setting is stored in the display unit or in the connector of the sensor. The
actual setting can be read out and rewritten.
