DIN 18650-1 is a German standard for powered pedestrian doors.

6.4.1 Test methods

No requirement, i.e. one measurement per point is sufficient.

6.4.2 Requirements

6.4.2.1 Definition of terms
Total duration Tt:
The total duration starts when the force exceeds the first time the dynamic trigger level of
150N and ends with the last decreasing of the remaining force 80N.
Dynamic duration Td:
The dynamic time duration starts when the force exceeds the first time 150N and ends with
the last decreasing of the 150N limit.
Excluded are force peaks which meets the exceptions are mentioned below. This time
belongs to the static duration.
Static duration Ts:
The static time duration starts after the dynamic duration and ends with the last decreasing of
the remaining force 80N.
Maximum dynamic Force Fd (Peakforce):
Maximum force within the dynamic duration.
Maximum static Force Fs:
Maximum force within the static duration.
Remaining force Fr:
Force after the static duration Ts has expired.
