Make sure that the position of the charging device remains stable, even if
■
there are vibrations, and that the cables do not become entangled in moving
parts of the engine.
Using the charging device
Check that the clamps are seated correctly.
■
Plugging in the mains cable.
■
Depending on whether a 12 V or 24 V battery is connected, the 24 V or 12 V
■
LED will light up and one or more charge indicator LEDs will light up or flash.
Note: If only the

Selecting a function
If a battery is connected, the desired function can be selected by repeatedly pressing the
■
MODE button.
12 or 24 V charging: When the MODE button is pressed, the charging device checks the
■
battery voltage and activates the 12 V or 24 V LED, depending on the voltage (standard
car batteries are mostly 12 V). At the same time, the charge indicator LEDs flash and/or
light up (25 – 100 %).
The meaning of the charge indicator LEDs (example): 25 % and 50 % light up, 75 %
■
flashes: Battery is more than 50 % charged. When the 75 % LED lights up, it means that
the battery is more than 75 % charged.
If the device switches back to standby mode ( ) shortly after charging has started, the
■
battery is faulty or has reached a state of deep discharge.
For battery capacities over 50 Ah. Max. charging voltage/current: 14.4 V / 25 A
■
(on 12 V batteries) or 28.8 V / 12.5 A (on 24 V batteries).
13.6 V / Supply: Suitable for regular maintenance/trickle charging of 12 V batteries (SLA)
■
or as a power supply. With overload protection (max. 6 A). The device automatically
switches to standby when the voltage falls below 4.5 V
Important! Reverse polarity protection is not available in standby mode. Before switching
■
on the device, check that the clamps are connected to the battery correctly. This function
is not available for 24 V batteries.
Trickle charging: Connect the clamps to the battery. Press the MODE button until the
■
SUPPLY LED lights up.
Use as a power supply: Connect the clamps to the consumer, then press and hold the
■
MODE button for more than 3 seconds in the (!) position. The two SUPPLY LEDs light up.
16 V BOOST: Suitable for severely or deeply discharged 12 V batteries (SLA), in which
■
sulphates have already started to form. Press the MODE button to switch on (LED 16 V
