GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read and follow the safety instructions in this chapter.

Fire hazard and burns. The temperature of the device is regulated by a thermal
switch. In the event of a fault, a temperature of over 45°C can be reached,
which means that the hot surface can cause burns and there is a risk of fire.
Therefore, keep a minimum distance of 3 cm from combustible materials and
place the appliance only on a fireproof base.

There is a risk of smouldering in the event of heat accumulation. The device
must not be covered with fabrics, hay, etc. during operation, as this may result
in heat accumulation and possibly fire.

There is a risk of electric shock from the mains adapter in the event of a defect
or moisture and wetness. Check the mains adapter for damage before each
use and ensure that the mains adapter is free from moisture and humidity.

Only insert the plug into properly installed sockets, otherwise it may result
in a short circuit or electric shock. The socket used should be equipped with
a residual current circuit breaker (RCCB).

Make sure that the device and its power supply cable are protected from water
and moisture to avoid a short circuit and possible fire.
»
Make sure that the mains adapter is out of reach of animals and children.

Risk of overheating. Use the device only at ambient temperatures of -30°C
to +15°C.

Keep at least two sides of the heating plate completely clear to prevent
overheating.

The device is not intended for use by children or anyone with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge. A
supervisor should always be present.

In the event of unusual noises, smells or smoke, disconnect the device from
the power supply immediately.

Stop using the device as soon as you notice any damage to the device and/or
its power supply. Check the device and its power supply regularly for damage.

Do not expose the device and mains adapter to extreme heat, high pressure
or moisture. This could damage the device and cause an electrical fire during
initial operation.

Possible damage to the insulation by animals. Lay the cable so that it is
protected from animals (e.g. chewing).
»
Only use the accessories supplied or approved by the manufacturer.

Connect the device only after it has been placed correctly. Do not use the
device without the feet.
CAU TION
There is a risk that excessive heating may release possible toxins in the plastic
housing. Make sure that the device is only used in well-ventilated rooms.
