Ba�ery Level Indicator
When the ba�ery level indicator reads
well as flash the backlight of the display and when voice prompts are enabled, a "Low Voltage" announcement will be heard,
indica�ng that you need to change your ba�ery or put your radio in the charger.
4.3 Status Indica�ons
The status LED has a very simple and tradi�onal design.

4.4 Main keypad controls

•[MENU] key: It is used for ac�va�ng the MENU, choose each MENU selec�on and confirm the parameter.
In standby mode, press and hold the key to switch between frequency (VFO) mode and channel (MR) mode.
To save frequencies to channel memory you must be in Frequency (VFO) mode. Memory mode is some�mes also referred to
as Channel mode.
• ▲ key: Press it for more than 2 seconds, the channel and frequency will move upwards rapidly; in SCAN mode, press this
control to move the scanning upwards.
• ▼ key: Keep it pressed it for more than 2 seconds, the channel and frequency will move downwards rapidly; in SCAN mode,
press this control to move the scanning downwards.
• [EXIT] key: press to exit the Menu and func�ons. A/B (appears on the display): push to select the desired frequency (VHF
the ba�ery is depleted. At this point the radio will start beeping periodically as
