4.2 Main controls and parts of the radio

1. Received signal strength.
2. High/Low power selec�on.
3. Appears when DTMFST (DT-ST / DT + ANI / ANI-ST) is ac�vated.
4. These symbols show that you set a DCS or CTCSS code in tx or rx. In tx mode it appears while you are transmi�ng, while in
rx mode it is shown also in stand-by condi�on.
5. Appears when a posi�ve shi� is ac�vated.
6. Appears when a nega�ve shi� is enabled.
7. This le�er is displayed when the Dual Watch func�on is ac�ve.
8. This icon indicates the keypad lock. To unlock it press [

11. Narrow bandwidth: N = narrow. When the wide (W) bandwidth is ac�vated, no icon is displayed.
12. Ba�ery level indicator. When the ba�ery is almost used up, the icon starts blinking and the transmission is blocked.
