In der Ausgangsstellung, beide Arme
oben, müssen die Bremsleinen lang
genug sein, um ein wenig durchzuhän-
gen aber kurz genug, um keinen oder
minimalen Vorlauf zu haben, bis die
Steuerung „greift".
Ob die Steuerung greift, erkennt man am
besten daran, dass sich die Hinterkante
des Schirmes bei minimalen Steuerein-
gaben in der Luft bewegt.
Für den ersten Flug werden die Brems-
leinen wie folgt eingestellt:
Von der ersten Gabelung der Bremsleine
(da, wo die etwas dickere Mantelleine
endet) bis zum Bremsleinenführungsring
(am hinteren Tragegurt), muss die Leine
„X" cm lang sein. Den entsprechenden
Wert für deinen Schirm kannst du dem
Typenschild oder der Tabelle auf
Seite 6
entnehmen.
Diese Länge „X" markierst du am besten
auf der Bremsleine. Dies erleichtert dir
die Einstellung.

In the initial position, both arms up,
the brake lines must be long enough to
slack a little but short enough to have
no or minimal travel until the control
„engages".
The best way to tell if the control is
engaging is to watch if the trailing
edge of the glider moves in the air with
minimal control input.
For the first flight, adjust the brake lines
as follows:
From the first binding of the brake line
(where the slightly thicker mantle line
ends) to the brake line guide ring (at the
rear riser), the line must be „X" cm long.
You can find the appropriate length for
your wing on the specs patch or in the
table on
page
6.
It is recommended that you mark this
length „X" on the brake line. This makes
it easier for you to adjust the length.
