5.1 General Safety Instructions
- Before using the machine, carefully read
all safety instructions and the Operating
Instructions.
- Keep all of the attached documents and
pass on the documentation if the ma-
chine changes ownership.
5.2 Safety instructions for all
working activities
Safety notices for working activity –
level grinding:
a) This electro-mechanical device is
designed for use as a level grinder.
Read all safety warnings, instruc-
tions, illustrations and specifi cations
intended for this electromechanical
tool. Failing to meet all the below speci-
fi ed instructions may lead to injury by
electric current, fi re and/or serious in-
jury.

b) This tool is not recommended for
cutting. Execution of works this tool is
not designed for may create a risk and
cause injury of a person.
c) Do not use accessories which is not
explicitly designed and recommended
by the tool manufacturer. The fact that
the accessories an be attached to your tool
does not guarantee its safe operation.
d) Nominal rpm of accessories must be
at least equal to the maximum rpm,
stated on the tool. Accessories that op-
erate at higher rpm than are the nominal
rpm, may break and pull apart.
e) Outer diameter and thickness of your
accessories must be within the limits
of nominal range for your electrome-
chanical tool. Accessories of incorrect
dimensions cannot be either protected
enough or controlled properly.
f) Clamping dimensions of disks, fl anges,
supporting plates or any other acces-
sories must be suitable for fi xing to
the tool spindle. Accessories with clamp-
ing holes which do not correspond with the
mounting dimensions of electromechani-
cal tool will be unbalanced, may vibrate
excessively and cause loss of control.
g) Do not use damaged accessories.
Check the accessories prior to each
use: check the grinding wheels for
chips and cracks, check the support-
ing plates for cracks, ripping or exces-
sive wear, check the wire brushes for
loose or cracked wires. If accessories
or tool fell down, check the damage or
mount undamaged accessories. After
the accessories is checked and mount-
ed, you and also bystanders stand to
be beyond the level of rotating ac-
cessories and leave the tools run free
at highest rpm for one minute. During
this trial time damaged accessories usu-
ally rips apart or disintegrates.
h) Use personal protective means. De-
pending on use, use facial shield and
safety protective goggles. If appro-
priate, use dust mask, ear protec-
tors, gloves and work apron, capa-
ble of capturing small fragments of
abrasive material or workpiece. Eye
protection must be capable of capturing
fragment impact created during various
