3. Measure a water sample as follows:
a. Prepare the sample. Refer to the test procedure.
Note: The sample vial holder is supplied with the test kits.
b. Select TIMER > START to start the timer, if applicable.
c. When the timer expires, clean the external surface of the
sample vial with a no-lint cloth.
d. Install the vial adapter in the instrument. Refer to the illustrated
steps in
e. Install the sample vial in the vial adapter.
f. Put the vial cover on the sample vial.
g. Select BACK > READ.
4. Immediately rinse the sample vial and cap three times with
deionized water (or distilled water). Keep the caps on the sample
vials when not in use.

1. Go to http://www.hach.com.
2. Enter "DR1300 FL" in the Search box.
3. Select the "Downloads" option on the left side in the "Search Type"
box.
