• To remove a chisel pull back the tool holder
locking sleeve (6) and pull the chisel out of the
tool holder.
Assembling and fitting the side handle (fig. E)
The side handle (8) can be mounted on either side of
the tool to suit both RH- and LH-users.
Always operate the Demolition Hammer
with the side handle properly assembled.
• Unscrew the side handle clamp knob (9) and
disassemble the side handle (8).
• Snap the steel ring (15) over the collar behind the
tool holder. Squeeze both ends together, mount
the bush (16) and insert the pin (17).
• Fit the side handle (8) and screw on the clamp
knob (9). Do not tighten.
• Rotate the side handle to the desired working
position.
• Lock the side handle mounting assembly in place
by tightening the clamp knob (9).
Instructions for use
• Always observe the safety instructions
and applicable regulations.
• Be aware of the location of pipework and
wiring.
• Apply approx. 20 kg pressure to the tool.
Excessive force does not speed up
chiselling but decreases tool performance
and may shorten tool life.
Chipping and chiselling (fig. A)
• Set the electronic impact power control dial (2).
• Fit and adjust the side handle (8).
• Set the mode indicator lever (5) to the upright or
rear position.
• Insert the appropriate accessory.
• Rotate the chisel or point by hand to lock it into
one of 8 positions.
• Rotate the mode indicator lever (5) back to the
forward position indicated by the impacting
symbol .
• Press the ON/OFF-switch (1).
• For continuous operation, depress the lock-on
button (10) on the ON/OFF-switch.

• To stop the tool, simply press the ON/OFF-switch
(1) once more. Always switch OFF the tool when
work is finished and before unplugging.

Maintenance

Lubrication
Your Power Tool requires no additional lubrication.
Cleaning
Keep the ventilation slots clear and regularly clean the
housing with a soft cloth.
Accessory maintenance
Accessory maintenance at the right time guarantees
optimal results in application and a long and efficient
accessory life.
• Grind the chisels on grinding disks. Refer to fig. F
for the appropriate angles of the following chisels:
- spade-shaped chisel (18)
- cold chisel (19)
- pointed chisel (20)
- U-shaped chisel (21)
- hollow chisel (22)
- mortar chisel (23)
- toothed chisel (24)
• These chisels can be reground only a
limited number of times. If in doubt,
contact your dealer for recommendations.
