Suitable location

– To prevent a flammable gas-air mixture
from forming following a leakage in the
refrigeration circuit, the installation space
must have a minimum size of 1 m
8 g of refrigerant in compliance with the
EN 378 standard. The amount of refrig-
erant in your appliance can be found on
the type plate.
– The appliance must only be placed on a
level and firm surface. The surface must
be strong enough to support the appli-
ance's weight when fully laden.
– Suitable locations are dry, well-ventilated
areas that are cool if possible.
– Unsuitable locations are ones with direct
sunlight or which are directly next to an
oven, hob or radiator.
– The following minimum distances must be
maintained:
to electric stoves
to oil and coal burning stoves
to other refrigeration appliances
to washing machines/
dishwashers
About climate categories
• Always ensure the prescribed ambient temperature is maintained (see "Intended use" on
page EN-4).
Climate category means that the appliance is intended for operation at the specified ambient
temperature. If the room temperature drops significantly below this, the unit will not switch on
as often. This indicates that an unwelcome increase in temperature may occur.
