Firmware Update
Firmware Update
Introduction
The R&S®HMS-X is being improved continuously. You are
invited to download the most recent firmware under http://
www.rohde-schwarz.com. The firmware is packed into ZIP
data packet and will be unpacked in the root directory of
an USB stick.
Insert the stick into the USB port of the spectrum analyzer
and push the key SETUP
front panel.
This will open the following softmenu:

Choose page 2 in the menu due to pushing the softkey
PAGE 1|2, if page 2 has not been opened already. Here you
find the menu item UPDATE.
After selecting this menu item a window will open which
displays the actual firmware version indicating the version
number, the date and build information.
Updating menu and information window
Now choose which to update: the firmware of the
R&S®HMS-X, the firmware of the interface or the help
function. If you select the firmware update by pushing the
appropriate key the respective date will be searched on the
stick, the information of the firmware to be updated from
the stick will be displayed below the line NEW:
