Start-up
Requirements
- Mount device on standard DIN rail.
- Connect cable for supply voltage 24 VAC/DC.
- A maximum of 10 transmitters can be taught in parallelly.
- The LEDs show the operating states. After switching on the receiver,
the orange LED 1 flashes if no transmitter has been taught in. If the
orange LED 1 does not flash, transmitters have already been
taught in.
Select operation mode
There are seven different operation modes that can be selected after
switch-on.
1. Keep the push-button LRN pressed and switch on the supply volt-
age, the operation mode changes every 5 s. For display of the LEDs,
see table. If LRN is not actuated within 5 s, it is switched to a
different operation mode.
2. If the desired operation mode is displayed, press the push-button
LRN for 1 s. The desired operation mode is now activated.

Operation mode wiping contact
- Choose or select wiping function. LED MD flashes.
- With each flashing of the LED, the wiping time is increased by 1 s.

- Count the impulses of the flashing LED and confirm the desired time
by pressing the LRN push-button.
- In order to change the wiping contact time, start selection of opera-
tion mode and select wiping function again.
Teaching in of transmitters
The output of the receiver can be switched by a maximum of 10 trans-
mitters. Therefore, each transmitter must be taught in once.
- press push-button LRN -> LED MD flashes slowly (2 Hz)
- actuate transmitter to be taught in -> LED 1 lights up for a short time
- to leave teach-in mode: press push-button LRN approx. 1 s ->
LED MD lights up
Deleting one transmitter
- press push-button LRN for 5 s -> LED MD flashes fast (5 Hz)
- actuate transmitter to be deleted -> LED 1 lights up for a short time
- to leave delete mode: press push-button LRN for approx. 1 s ->
LED MD is green
Inverse teaching in of one transmitter
- Procedure like teach-in but transmitter must be actuated before pro-
cedure is started by pressing LRN.
Deleting all transmitters
- press push-button LRN for 5 s -> LED MD flashes fast (5 Hz)
- repress push-button LRN for 5 s until LED MD is off
- LED MD lights up and LED 1 is off
Maintenance and cleaning
.steute recommends routine maintenance as follows:
1. Remove all dirt particles: Clean enclosure on the outside only.
Clean device in accordance with IP protection class. Clean with
a soft cloth and water or a mild detergent. Do not clean using
compressed air.
2. Replace damaged parts.
3. Test the function.
Disposal
- Observe national, local and legal regulations concerning disposal.
- Recycle each material separately.
