VALIDITY
This document is intended for qualified and licensed electricians.
The activities described here must only be carried out by persons
who have the following minimum qualification:
• Instruction in the installation and commissioning of electrical
devices
• Training with respect to electrical hazards and locally applica-
ble safety requirements
• Knowledge of the applicable standards and directives
• Familiarity and compliance with this document and all safety
instructions.

INTENDED USE

The power meter AC Sensor Flex (referred to hereinafter as ACS) is
a device that takes the electrical measurements at a 1 or 3-phase
AC voltage connection and transmits the values via CAN bus. The
device is intended exclusively for private use with a MyReserve bat-
tery storage system and the EnergyManager. This product is not an
active electric energy meter as defined by EU Directive 2004/92/EC
(IDE). The ACS must not be used for billing purposes. The data that
the device records may differ from the data of the energy meter
used for billing.
The ACS must only be connected in the customer's main switch-
board on the consumer side downstream from the retail meter of
the power supply company. It is suited exclusively for use indoors
in a switch box or meter cabinet. The ACS is approved for use in
member states of the EU, as well as Switzerland and Australia. Its
use is permitted exclusively in compliance with the specifications
of the accompanying documentation. Any other use could result
in property damage and personal injury. Modifications and instal-
lation of additional components are prohibited for safety reasons.
