1. SAFETY INFORMATION

1.1 Description and Intended Purpose

Thank you for choosing this OHAUS product.
All symbols indicate safety instructions and points to potential dangerous situations. Please read the
manual completely before using the Frontier
Frontier TM 2000 Centrifuges were designed for the separation of materials or mixtures with different
densities. OHAUS centrifuges are intended exclusively for indoor use and for use by qualified personnel.

1.2 Brief description

The model FC2516 is non-refrigerated micro high centrifuge.
The model FC2706 is non-refrigerated universal centrifuge.
All models are offered in two voltage variations, 230V and 120V.
The centrifuges can be used with swing-out and angle rotors.
The centrifuge is powered by a maintenance-free induction motor. Detailed technical data are in the
"Technical data" section.

1.3 Definition of Signal Warnings and Symbols
