Press down slightly harder on the lid. The lid will close after the mechanical lock connects to the lock buckle.

3.3 Parameter Settings

3.3.1 Rotor number setting

Press the "SET" button until the RPM/RCF window displays a flashing "NO-38". Use the " " or " " buttons to
set the correct rotor number. The rotor number is the last two digits of the rotor material serial number. E.g.,
the serial number of rotor 6×15ml is "30692838". So, the rotor number is "38". The setting is shown in the
figure below:

3.3.2 Rotation speed setting

Press the "SET" button until the RPM/RCF window displays a flashing "8888". Use the " " or " "
buttons to adjust the values. Pressing the " " or " " buttons once will adjust the rate by 5 rpm, while
pressing down on either button for approximately 3 seconds will adjust the rate by 100 rpm. The figure
below shows the setting at 4000 rpm.

3.3.3 Relative centrifugal force setting (RCF)

Press the "SET" button until the RPM/RCF window displays a flashing "8888.". Use the " " or " "
buttons to adjust the values. Pressing the " " or " " buttons once will adjust the rate by 5×g, while
pressing down on either button for approximately 3 seconds will adjust the rate by 100×g. The figure
below shows the setting at 3500×g.

3.3.4 Centrifugation time setting

Minutes setting: Press the "SET" button until a flashing "88:" is displayed in the Time window. Use the " " or
" " buttons to adjust the values by 1 minute each time you press. The range of values is 0 min-99 min.
Seconds setting: Press the "SET" button until a flashing ":88" is displayed in the Time window. Use the " " or
" " buttons to adjust the values by 1 second each time you press. The range of values is 1s-59s.
The centrifuge timer will begin counting down after the rotation speed reaches the configured speed.
The figure below shows the configuration at 10 min 20s.
