INSTALLATION INFORMATION
Installation must be carried out in
accordance with national standards.
The fi xture must only be used when
complete with safety screen. If the
screen is damaged or broken, the fi xture
must not be used. Restore the original
conditions before reusing.
The fi xture is installed under CL II (or
CL I) protection standards, particular
care must be taken while assembling to
ensure that exposed metal parts do not
come into electrical contact with parts of
the electrical installation connected to
a protection conductor. This light fi xture
must be installed only for the use for
which it was designed, namely for the
illumination of outdoor spaces.
Any other use must be considered to
be improper and dangerous, and the
manufacturer cannot be held liable for
any damage caused by improper and
unreasonable use.
Installation
Pull out at least 50cm of the electrical
supply cable from the holder (Fig. 1) and
insert it inside the illuminating body still
closed (Fig. 2). Screw the device to the
bracket employing the G3/4" threaded
pipe and tighten the locking screw with a
force of 1.2Nm (Fig. 3). Orient the device
correctly to the road axis (Fig. 4).
Open the two quick-release covers
(Fig. 5) and carefully lower the protective
glass (Fig. 6).
Electrical connection
Ensure that the luminaire is in perfect
condition and that the operating voltage
is compatible with the line voltage.
Locate the terminal block to which the
power cable is to be connected (Fig. 7).
The power cable coming from the holder
through the PG13.5 cable gland must be
the right length to the terminal box.
Strip the wires and connect them to
the terminal block observing polarity
(Fig.8-9) and stop the power cable in
the cable guide. Tighten the PG13.5
cable gland inside the device (up to the
stop) to secure the cable (Fig. 10). If the
external fl exible cable of this appliance
is damaged, it must only be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or a
qualifi ed person to avoid danger.
To close the unit, repeat the steps
described above, but in reverse:
Replace the protective glass and close
the two side covers (Fig. 11-12).
