5. Use
• Touch-Free Sensor Heating: Activates the internal heating of the Touch-Free fitting
to prevent sensor fogging.
• Touch-Free safety mode: When this function is active, the rear safety sensor must be
activated in addition to the side or top sensor when tapping cold water. This pre-
vents accidental tapping in environments with highly reflective surfaces around the
tap. The filling function is no longer available when safety mode is active.
Reset – Deactivates the password function.
'Safety & Security'
Boiling Safety – An additional safety button can be enabled at all taps to prevent
boiling water being dispensed accidentally. In addition, scald protection can be
activated for the Classic and Classic Plus so that, for example, children cannot tap
boiling water.
Password – A user password can optionally be set to lock the 'Settings' menu and pre-
vent unauthorised persons from altering the settings. The password should be 4 digits
long
'Energy saving'
Sleep Mode – To reduce energy consumption, the heating and cooling functions of the
appliance can be deactivated when the appliance is not in use and/or when it is dark.
Alternatively, the hot water temperature can be reduced during idle periods to achieve
a shorter warm-up time when the appliance is used again.
ON/OFF-Timer – The timer allows the user to switch the appliance on or off at a set
time. One ON/OFF period per day is possible.
Energy use – Shows the energy consumption since start-up and since the last remain-
ing consumption reset.
'Info'
Shows data specific to the unit and any errors occurring.
'Service'
A special password specific to the unit is needed in order to access the Service menu.

Natural traces
The activated carbon contained in the filter is subject to natural fluctuations. By e.g.
vibrations during transport can result in slight abrasion of small coal particles. These
particles are harmless to health. If you see particles in the water, follow the instructions
in chapter 7 "Filter Replacement" sub point 8.
