must first be disconnected from the battery to prevent short
circuits.
- Do not start the engine of the vehicle as long as the generator is
connected to the battery. This causes damage to the generator.
• Connect the positive terminal to the positive pole of the battery.
An incorrect connection can seriously damage the generator and
battery.
If the battery liquid comes into contact with the skin,
immediately rinse the skin with running water. Neutralize
with a mild acid, eg lemon juice or vinegar. In case of
contact with the eyes, rinse the eyes with clean running
water for at least 10 minutes and consult a doctor.
Disconnect the battery when the DC circuit protection (14) is
activated. Wait a few minutes, press the circuit protection again and
reconnect the battery.
Start the engine as described above. Check that the output indicator
(26) is green.
To connect an electrical device or machine, plug the mains plug into
an AC socket (18).

Overload protection
The overload protection (25) interrupts the circuit in case of overload
or short circuit of an output. Wait at least 1 minute before operating
the reset switch (18).
Alternating current can be used simultaneously with direct current. If
both are used at the same time, the total power for AC and DC must
not be exceeded: AC: 0.9 kVA, DC: 5 A.
Most engines require more than their nominal power when starting.
Output and overload indicator
During normal operation, the outpur indicator (26) lights up green. If
the generator is overloaded (more than 0.9 kVA). or the connected
device causes a short circuit, the green indicator turns off and the
red overload indicator (25) lights up. Alternating current is switched
off, but the motor continues to run.
Oil alarm system
The oil alarm system is designed to prevent damage to the engine
due to low oil level. The engine is automatically shut down as soon
as the oil level becomes too low.
The oil alarm indicator (24) lights up red.
Check the oil level when the engine stops and does not restart.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

For good functioning and a long lifespan for the machine, regular
cleaning and maintenance is essential.
Do not perform any cleaning or maintaining activities while
the motor is running.
Do not smoke during the below work. Do no work in the
• Regularly clean the ventilation slots.
Changing the oil
after every 100 hours or 6 months.
• Place a receiving bin under the bleeding point.
• Remove the dipstick from the filling-point.
• Remove the screw from the bleeding point.
• Tilt the machine slightly remove all oil.
• Re-insert the screw and tighten it securely.
• Fill the crankcase with the prescribed amount of oil.
• Replace the dipstick.
Checking the oil level
Always check the oil level before starting the motor.
• Remove the dipstick (14) from the filling-point.
• Clean the dipstick.
• Insert the dipstick into the filling hole for a few seconds before
pulling it out again.
• Check the oil-level. The oil level should be at a rate between high
and low.
• If the level is below this mark, refill the oil.
- Use a funnel to avoid spilling.
• Mount the dipstick.
• Loosen the fastening screws of the air filter cover (27).
• Remove the lid.
• Remove the air filter (28) from the filter holder (29).
• Clean the filter with spirit or ethanol.
• Squeeze the filter. Do not wring!
• Immerse the filter in clean engine oil.
• Squeeze the filter and mount it in place.
• Reinstall the filter holder.
• Reinstall the cover.
Checking the spark plug
• Remove the spark plug cover.
• Remove the spark plug cable from the spark plug.
• Remove the spark plug with the spark plug wrench.
• Clean the electrode with a wire brush.
• Check the contact distance (correct value 0.6 - 0.7 mm), and
adjust if necessary.
• Reinstall the spark plug and the spark plug cover.
The spark arrester must be clelaned every 100 operating hours.
• Remove the screws, and remover the muffler guard (2).
• Remove the spark arrester (30).
• Clean the spark arrester with a brush.
• Replace the spark plug and mount the muffler guard.
The built-in battery is charged while the engine is running.
• Remove the screws from the battery compartment lid (5).
• Loosen the battery belt.
• Disconnect the black cable first and then the red cable.
• Replace the battery.
• First connect the red cable to the positive (+) pole and then the
black cable to the negative (-) pole.
• Hook the battery belt and replace the cover.

TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

If the machine is out of use for a longer period of time, the fuel
tank must be emptied and the oil must be changed. This prevents
problems with restarting.
• Empty the fuel tank.
• Change the oil.
• Cover the machine and place it in a clean an dry environment.
Cleaning the generator
