Operation
The defrosting process will start. The re-
quired defrosting time is counted down on
the display (12). The indicators
flash.
Once the defrosting time has elapsed, five
beeps will sound.

Defrosting by time

1. Press the "Defrost by weight/time" but-
ton (15) twice.
The indicator " " and the indicators

and will appear on the display.
2. Set the desired defrosting time using the
control dial (18).
The defrosting time must be a minimum of
5 seconds and a maximum of 95:00 min-
utes.
3. Press the "Start/+30sec./Confirm" but-
ton (17).
The defrosting process will start. The re-
quired defrosting time is counted down on
the display (12). The indicators
flash.
Once the defrosting time has elapsed, five
beeps will sound.
You can extend the defrosting time
as described in the section "Extend-
ing the cooking time" on page EN-23.

Multistage cooking

You can set two different cooking levels – e.g.
and
when you first wish to defrost a dish at a high
power and then finish the cooking at a lower
power.
For multistage cooking, you cannot
select an automatic program or the
"Preheating" function.
Example: You want to initially defrost a dish
that you had frozen for 10 minutes, and then
complete the cooking process in 15 minutes
with 80% microwave power.
1. Press the "Defrost by weight/time" but-
