Note: Avoid contact with strong, aromatic, chlorinated, ketone, ether, or ester solvents.
Prolonged immersion (more than 1 hour) in alcohol or mild solvents, detergent solutions or
highly alkaline solutions may affect the cable and electrode jacket flexibility.
Disinfection
After cleaning, the reusable cable for Lantern Laryngeal Electrodes may be disinfected with
the use of 70% ethanol. The cable should be wiped with a soft cloth dipped in a 70% ethanol
for at least 1 minute, to ensure proper disinfection of the product.
Drying
After cleaning and disinfection, dry the cable with a clean, soft, low-linting cloth to remove any
remaining water or disinfection solution.

sterilization, as it may damage the product.
Inspection

according to your hospital's procedure for medical waste. The integrity of the cable can be
checked with a simple resistance meter.
Storage and Transport
Protect cables from damage and contamination during storage and transport. When not in

around the equipment casing to avoid damaging internal wires. When transporting the
products outside their main area of use, pack them in a resealable plastic bag to prevent
damage or contamination.
