- if foreign bodies get into the
device, if there are unusual
noises or vibrations (check
the device for damage before
restarting the device).
• Never operate the machine with
defective protective equipment
or shields, or without safety
equipment, e.g. without the col-
lection box being connected.
• Keep the power source free of
refuse or other accumulated
material to prevent it from beco-
ming damaged and to avoid a
potential fire.
• Stop the machine and remove
the plug from the mains socket.
Ensure that all moving parts are
at a full standstill
- whenever you leave the ma-
chine unattended,
- before removing any obstructi-
on or cleaning blocked chan-
nels,
- before checking, cleaning or
carrying out other work on the
machine.
• Ensure that you do not touch
any of the dangerous moving
parts before you have unplug-
ged the machine from the mains
supply, and that the dangerous
moving parts have come to a
complete standstill.
• Ensure the material being pro-
cessed does not collect in the
ejection zone; this could prevent
proper ejection and lead to the
material being thrown back out
through the hopper.
• Do not transport or tilt the de-
vice when the motor is running.
• Hands, other parts of the
body and clothing must not be
brought into the feeding cham-
ber, discharge chute or near
other moving parts.
• If there are blockages in the
machine's inlet or outlet, switch
off the motor and pull out the
mains plug before removing any
material remaining in the feed
opening or discharge chute.
Ensure the motor is free of was-
te and other deposits to protect
the motor from damage or the
potential for fire. Remember that
when you launch the starting
mechanism on power tools, the
cutting tool also starts up.
Caution! This is how to avoid
damage to the equipment
and possible personal inju-
ries resulting from this:
• Treat your device with care. Cle-
an the ventilation holes regular-
ly and follow the maintenance
instructions.
• Do not overload your device.
Only work within the power
range indicated. Do not use
low-performance machines for
heavy work. Do not use the de-
vice for purposes for which it is
not intended.
• Only turn off the device once the
hopper is fully emptied otherwise
the device may become clogged
and, under some circumstances,
may not start again.
• Do not try to repair the device
yourself, unless you have pro-
fessional training. All work not
mentioned in these instructions
may only be performed by our
service centre.
