How to apply the Ugo Sheath:

The Ugo Sheath can be worn for up to 24 hours.

Always inspect the penile skin after removal of the sheath and prior to fitting a new Ugo Sheath.

Maintain a good daily hygiene routine by washing with soap and water between each sheath fitting and ensure

the penis is clean and dry before fitting the sheath.

• Trim any hair which may get caught in the sheath and if necessary, use the enclosed gauze fabric square hair guards;

• Position the Ugo Sheath over the end of the penis. If a foreskin is present, ensure it is in place covering the glans

penis and not retracted when fitting the sheath;

• Leave a 2cm – 3cm space between the end of the penis and the base of the sheath spout;

• Fully unroll the Ugo Sheath along the length of the penis, ensuring that it rolls evenly. Hold the sheath in place

to allow time for the adhesive to bond;

• Fit the urine drainage bag connector into the sheath spout.

Warning! - Make sure your Ugo Sheath or drainage tubing are not twisted and the urine drainage bag

connector is not pushed too far into the sheath.

• Secure the urine drainage bag to the leg using appropriate fixation devices and make sure you are comfortable

and can move around freely and urine is draining into the bag. If a 2L drainage bag is used, then this must be

attached to a stand or a hanger.

How to remove the Ugo Sheath:

• Loosen the base of the Ugo Sheath from the penis, all the way around;

• Use warm water and soap or use an adhesive remover to help unroll the sheath down the length of the penis

and gently remove.

Always inspect the penile skin after removal of the sheath and prior to fitting a new Ugo Sheath.

Using your urine drainage bag in conjunction with the Ugo Sheath:

• Empty your urine bag before it reaches 2/3 full.

• It is important that your urine bag is positioned below the level of your bladder and to check regularly that your

sheath and drainage tubing are free from obstruction and urine is draining freely.

• Ensure that the tap at the bottom of your urine bag does not touch the floor.

• Always support the weight of your sheath and urine drainage bag when fitting and securing to your leg or a

urine bag stand.

STORAGE AND HANDLING | Keep dry and out of direct sunlight. Unopened packs have a 5-year shelf life.

Do not use after expiry date. Once the Ugo Sheath box has been opened, store with the lid closed and use within

3 months.

DISPOSAL | The Ugo Sheath must be disposed of according to local policies and waste disposal procedures,

including any accessories / consumables used with the device.

Each Ugo Sheath box and wrapping is fully recyclable.
