Press the MODE button again for 2 seconds to save the changed parameters and
complete the calibration routine.

Calibration errors

There are a number of potential causes of calibration errors:
• You have used the same buffer solution twice during calibration. Correct
calibration can only be carried out with two different technical buffer solutions.
pH 7 first and then pH 4.
• The measuring cable was connected incorrectly. The pH probe must be connected
to the left socket.
• The buffer solutions are exhausted. Try again using fresh buffer solutions.
• The measuring cable is defective or not connected. Please check the connection
between the electrode and the control unit.
• The pH single-rod measuring cell is worn. The lifetime of a measuring electrode
Now dip the probe into the second pH 4 buffer solution.
Pressing the up arrow triggers the second part of the
calibration routine.
Press the arrow key again to trigger the countdown.
After another 15 seconds, the control displays the value
of the second buffer solution pH 4.
If the calibration was successful, the display shows
OK
The control unit has now been successfully calibrated to
the pH probe.
