1.11. MACHINE DESCRIPTION (FIG. 1)

The bandsaw is made up of two main parts: the machine body (4) complete with motor (6) and
drive system, which is joined, by means of a swivel support (8), to the bottom section, made
up of a base tank (12) and clamp (13).
The base tank (12), as well as collecting the cutting fl uid also acts as a base unit for connection
to the pedestal (16).

2.1.

REMOVING THE PACKAGING

It is advisable to keep the packaging for future use (for transporting or storing the machine).
a. Remove the box used to protect the machine during transport.
b. Separate the machine from the delivery pallet by unscrewing the fi xing screws
2.2.

HANDLING

a. Install the relative hoisting shackles
b. Lift the machine as illustrated in the fi gure (Fig. 2) using a hoist with an adequate hoisting
capacity or any other suitable lifting gear.
