4.4.8 Storing the battery

NOTE
Even if all LEDs of the SoC display light up, the
battery must be fully charged before storing.
During battery storage, the BMS must be switched
off so that the battery is not deeply discharged by the
BMS. For this, both battery receptacles must be free
(no cable plugged into the battery).
During storage, the lithium cells are slowly unloaded by
the installed balancer (component of the BMS). There-
fore, the battery must not be stored for longer than 1
months without recharging under any circumstances.
If this is the case, it can be deeply discharged, destroy-
ing the individual cells. To charge, the temperature must
be at least 10°C.
The optimal storage is at low temperatures not below
10°C. Storage at 10°C to 20°C is optimal.
There is no guarantee for deep-discharged batteries.
Service work will be invoiced.
