Cleaning and care

▪ Disconnect the power cord and allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning.
▪ Before changing the oil, please wait until it has cooled down completely. Then remove the oil-pot
from the heating base.
▪ Used oil or fat must be disposed of properly and in an environmentally friendly manner. The best
way to do this is to pour the cooled oil into a plastic bottle from one of the four corners of the
oil-pot.
▪ The outside of the oil-pot may become discoloured when cleaned in the dishwasher. This discol-
ouration is not harmful or a sign of poor quality but is merely typical of the material.
▪ When cleaning the oil-pot, do not use any metallic, abrasive objects or cleaning agents as these
could damage the non-stick coating.
▪ The potato dicer can be disassembled for easier cleaning. The blade insert can be taken out of the
collection container.
Tip: Caution - risk of cutting!
▪ Remove the odour filter before cleaning the lid in the dishwasher.
▪ Replace the odour filter after approximately 10 deep-frying processes at the latest.
