PLAYBACK OF MP3 FILES FROM A USB/SD CARD

Connection
The unit can play MP3 files via SD / MMC memory cards or USB.
1. Switch the unit to standby mode before using the USB or memory card.
2. Connect a USB storage device or insert a memory card.
Note: If you try to insert the storage medium
the wrong way round, the unit may be
damaged. Check for correct alignment before
inserting.
3. Switch the unit to SD/MMC
FUNCTION button (5).
4. The unit automatically starts loading and displays the number of MP3
files.
5. The operation is the same as for CD/MP3 playback.
Notes:
• The unit can only read MP3 files.
• If you connect an MP3 player to the unit via USB, it may not be
recognised as a USB memory device. This is not a malfunction.
• The USB connection is not designed for USB extensions or direct
connection to a PC.
Removing USB / memory card
Before removing, you must switch off the unit or change the mode to CD,
AUX or radio. Now you can remove the storage medium.
