Never put the connecting wires into a power socket! Regularly examine the transformer for damage. In
case of any damage, do not use the transformer.
Make sure that the power supply is switched off when you mount the device and connect the cables!
Only use VDE/EN tested special model train transformers for the power supply!
The power sources must be protected to avoid the risk of burning cables.
Risk of destruction!
The drive unit in the mast socket must not be opened, damaged or brought in contact with moisture.

2. Introduction

The switching outputs (fig. 1) are intended exclusively for switching small currents, e. g. for supplying
LEDs or switching relays.
Under no circumstances must they be connected to the track – it will result in the destruction of the
module! Traction current must be influenced by means of relays (fig. 9, 10).

2.1 Quick start

Connect the signal. Please observe fig. 5 resp. 6 for analogue mode and fig. 7 resp. 8 for digital mode.
The DCC default address of the decoder is 1. In analogue mode the wire with the red marker of a single
arm semaphore signal switches the signal to Hp0 (stop) while the wire marked green activates Hp1 (go).
In digital mode this is true in a similar fashion e. g.: for the red and green buttons on your command sta-
tion. Semaphore signals with two coupled arms can display Hp0 and Hp2 (speed reduction). Signals with
two uncoupled semaphore arms will be triggered to display Hp2 via the wire with a yellow marker. Hp0
and Hp1 are controlled in the same manner as single arm signals.
Please note that signals with two uncoupled semaphore arms require two consecutive digital addresses.
Hp2 is, therefore, controlled by the default address 2.
