Dusts from materials with a lead-content coating,
some types of wood, minerals and metals can
represent a health hazard. Touching or inhaling
dusts can be the cause of allergic reactions and/or
respiratory disorders to the user or persons in the
vicinity.
Always
protection when performing work
which produces dust and switch
on the dust extraction system at
the work location!
Certain dusts, such as those from oak or beech,
are considered carcinogenic,
combination with additives used in treating wood
(chromate, preservatives).
asbestos may only be processed by specialists.
Avoid contact with power sources. The grinder is
not insulated against contact with live parts!

Enclose the working area of the
robot. Before inspecting non-
enclosed automatic systems,
remove any jewellery. Always wear
a hair net if you have long hair!
Always wear well-fitting clothes
when completing the work.
Warning!
In the case of an interruption of
the air supply, switch the device
off immediately! Otherwise, when
the air supply is available again,
the device will start up in an
uncontrolled way.
General information
Never operate the BIAX robot tooling manually.
Before starting work, clamp the tool securely and
as far as possible in the collet.
The grinder may only be used with an undamaged
hose! Check the tubes and connections for signs of
damage before starting work!
Pay attention that compressed air stored in the
hose cannot cause the grinder to start up
unexpectedly!
The operating pressure of 6 bar (3 bar for TR
1786) must never be exceeded during operation!
Always disconnect the device from the compressed
air supply when changing the grinding tool and for
maintenance work to prevent the device starting up
accidentally!
Complete a 30-second test run before starting to
use the grinder.
