3.6 Use of „3 in 1" Detergent Tablets
Before using 3in1 tablets (i.e. rinsing tablets with combined rinsing
agent, rinse aid and salt function) you should first check whether they
are compatible with the water hardness in your supply area
(see manufacturer's instructions on the product packaging).
Also you should follow the manufacturer's instructions strictly when
using the 3in1 product and contact the manufacturer if you encounter
any problems when using the product for the first time.
Note:
When using combination products, it is not necessary or sensible to fill
the containers for rinse aid and salt or to observe their control lamps.
It may be helpful to select the lowest possible water hardness setting.
Using the 3in1 function
Note: The 3in1 rinse cycle is an additional function and must be
used in conjunction with one of the programs „Intensive", „Eco"
or „Light".
1. Switch the appliance on with the On/Off button and select the 3-in-1
function by pressing the function button until the „3in1" icon
is flashing.
2. The 3-in-1 function is activated start the rinse cycle („3in1" icon
is displayed).
Cancelling the 3in1 function
Follow the instructions in the section „Changing the washing program".
If you decide to switch to the use of a standard detergent system
we advise that you:
1. Refill both the salt and rinse aid compartments.
2. Switch the water hardness setting to the highest possible position
and run for three normal cycles without load.
3. Readjust the water hardness setting again according to the con-
ditions for your region (For more information please refer to your
instruction manual).
