5. Energy savings when using the dish-
washer
Load the dishes
•
When loading the dishes into the dishwasher you please follow the
instructions in the relevant chapter of this manual, in order to achie-
ve the optimum results.
•
Turn the dishwasher only when it is full; in this way you achieve the
optimal energy and water utilization.
•
To select the most efficient wash cycle according to the size and
type of fill, you go through the program table.
•
The austerity program washing dishes at a lower temperature and
uses less water during the cycle. This makes it more environmen-
tally friendly and helps reduce expenditure on energy and water.
Application
•
All filters must be cleaned regularly to ensure that the dishwasher is
clean and gets its efficiency.
•
After use, do not forget to switch off the dishwasher. If the unit
remains in standby mode, each year large quantities of energy are
wasted.
•
Before loading the dishes into the dishwasher, the dishes must
not be rinsed off. If you prefer the pre-rinse, use cold water for the
dishes, but do not waste the water and do not let it flow uninterrup-
ted.
•
For dishes which is not too much dirty, use shorter programs with
a lower temperature. Shorter programs need less energy and work
equally well. Modern dishwashing detergents have the same effect
at lower temperatures.
