18.4 Opening and closing the system

The air curtain system can be opened at the air intake grid at the back of the device. To do this,
unscrew the 4 screws that secure the grid.
The air intake grid can now be re-moved. The filter cartridge is located in a bracket directly behind
the suction grid.
To close the air curtain again, replace the filter in the bracket and screw the air intake back on with
the 4 screws.
The air curtain can be turned on again.
Wear protective goggles when opening the air curtain or during filter
maintenance work to avoid dirt or dust particles from inside the air curtain
getting into your eyes.
Fan motors take approximately 3 minutes to stop rotating before the air
curtain may be opened. Otherwise there is a risk of getting caught in the
rotating fans or of injury to hands.
The inspection cover is not secured by a chain or similar device. Please open
carefully and slowly after unlocking.
Warning of risk of burns due to hot surfaces!
Warning of injury to the hands by crushing or cuts resulting from sharp edges!
Optional: The air curtain can be fitted with a repair switch behind the inspection cover, which
should be used for safety purposes during maintenance or repair work etc.
