15.3 Ceiling mounting

We recommend installation of a repair switch and door contact!
Never walk underneath suspended parts and/or underneath the device during
installation!
For a safe installation, always use secure climbing aids to avoid the risk of
falling.
It is essential to use all specified anchor points on the air curtain system!
Special mounting materials can be obtained from Teddington. The mounting
materials must be adapted to the local situation and the structural stability
checked where necessary. The supplied mounting parts must be checked for
suitability and replaced if necessary. The specialist installation company has
sole responsibility for the safe installation.

For ceiling mounting at least 6
special ceiling mounting brackets
(DH or DHD, description see below)
are screwed into blind rivet nuts.
How many brackets are needed for
mounting depends on the length of
the air curtain. The blind rivet nuts
are located on the top side of the air
curtain and on the top side of the air
discharge channel. The air curtain is
anchored into the ceiling above the
revolving door with heavy duty
dowels. Adjusting of the turnbuckles
allows horizontal alignment at the
correct height.
