18.3 How to clean the filter

To open the air curtain, set the control's selector switch to "zero".
The filter must be cleaned according to the duration of use. In businesses dealing with textiles,
weekly filter control/filter cleaning may be necessary for example because the degree of air
pollution can be extremely high.
To do this, open the filter cassettes. After removal, you can beat or vacuum the filter.
If the filter cannot be completely cleaned, you can buy a new filter from Teddington.
In the case of heavy soiling you must also clean the air intake grid. Then push the filter back into its
rack. Now you can close the system again and turn it on.

The air curtain's electrical systems can only be serviced by a qualified
electrician or other qualified persons under the guidance and supervision of a
qualified electrician, according to electrical regulations!
Before maintenance work starts on the air curtain system, it must be ensured
that the system is turned off and is not receiving current from any source.
Setting the selector switch to zero is not sufficient for this. The power supply
must be completely turned off and safety precautions must be taken so that
restarting by third parties is impossible (repair switch and/or fuse box).
If electrical heating exists
After a longer period of inactivity, the heating element must be cleaned before
turning the unit on again (danger of fire due to dirt deposits).
The air curtain cannot be operated without a filter. Operation without a filter
causes soiling of the heat exchanger, which may require a very complex
repair.
ONLY use original filter materials; otherwise the warranty loses its validity and
the air curtain may be damaged!
