RDS (Radio Data System)

A
RDS is a broadcasting service which allows
stations to send additional information along

with the regular radio program signal. RDS
can be received only in FM band.
Every time the DISPLAY button is pressed,
the mode is changed as follows:
PS (Program Service Name)
When you select PS, the program service
name will be displayed. If there is no PS
data in the station, the frequency will be
displayed.
PTY (Program Type)
PTY
When you select PTY, the type of received
RT PTY will be displayed. "NO PTY"
will be displayed if there is no PTY data.

RT (Radio Text)
RT
When you select RT, the RT data will be
PTY
displayed. If you change the station in RT
mode, RT will be displayed after 5
RT
seconds. If the station has no RT, the
frequency will be displayed.

PTY search
A station can be searched by this
function.
1 Press the RDS button for longer than 1.5
seconds.
Then "RDS" will be shown in the display.
2 Select the desired PTY mode.
(The program will blink.)
3 Press the RDS button. (Searching will
start.)
When the PTY mode that you have
selected is searched, searching will stop
and the PTY mode will be displayed.
If the same program type is not found
during PTY Search, it will stop at the
beginning frequency.
If you want to cancel PTY search while
searching, press the RDS button.
Searching will stop and search mode will
be released automatically.

RDS
Le RDS est un service radio qui permet aux
stations émettrices de diffuser des
informations complémentaires parallèlement
à l'émission radio elle-même. Le service RDS
ne peut être capté que sur la bande FM.
Chaque fois que l'on appuie sur la touche
DISPLAY, le mode change, selon l'ordre
suivant: A
PS (Nom du service de programmes)
Sélectionnez l'option PS, apparaît le nom
du programme. Si la station n'a pas de
données de PS, c'est sa fréquence qui
s'affiche.
PTY (Type de programme)
La sélection de PTY entraîne l'affichage
du type de programme capté. L'indication
NO PTY s'affiche en cas d'absence de
données de PTY.
RT (Texte radiodiffusé)
Sélectionnez l'option RT, apparaît le texte
radiodiffusé. Si on change de station en
mode RT, l'indication RT s'affiche 5
secondes plus tard. Si la station n'a pas
de données RT, c'est sa fréquence qui
s'affiche.
Recherche par PTY = type de programme
La recherche de station peut s'effectuer à
l'aide de cette fonction.
1 Appuyez sur la touche RDS et la maintenir
enfoncée pendant au moins 1,5 seconde.
L'indication "RDS" apparaît sur l'afficheur.
2 Sélectionner le mode PTY désiré en
utilisant les touches TUNING.
(Le programme clignotera.)
3 Appuyer sur la touche MEMORY. (La
recherche commencera.)
Lorsque le mode PTY que vous avez
sélectionné est trouvé, la recherche
s'arrêtera et le mode PTY sera affiché.
Si le même type de programme n'est pas
trouvé pendant la recherche PTY, elle
s'arrêtera à la fréquence de départ.
Si vous voulez annuler la recherche PTY
pendant la recherche, appuyer sur la touche
RDS. La recherche s'arrêtera et le mode de
recherche sera relâché automatiquement.
