The ON/OFF SWITCH stops the motor as

soon as it is switched off .
5 The SAFETY LOCK-OFF prevents the motor
being turned on accidentally. The ON/OFF
SWITCH can only be pressed if the safety
lock-off is also pressed.
21 The CHAIN CATCH reduces the risk of inju-
ries if the saw chain breaks or slips while the
motor is running. The chain catch is designed
to catch a chain that is wrapping around itself.
Note: Familiarize yourself with the saw and its
parts.
2.2 Items supplied
Please check that the article is complete as
specifi ed in the scope of delivery. If parts are
missing, please contact our service center or the
sales outlet where you made your purchase at
the latest within 5 working days after purchasing
the product and upon presentation of a valid bill
of purchase. Also, refer to the warranty table in
the service information at the end of the operating
instructions.

packaging and/or transportation braces (if
available).

Inspect the equipment and accessories for
transport damage.

If possible, please keep the packaging until
the end of the guarantee period.

3. Proper use

Danger! This chainsaw is a special type of chain-
saw intended specifi cally for tree care. During
use, the rear handle should be held in the right
hand and the front handle should be held in the
left hand. It should only be operated by fully trai-
ned users to remove branches and to cut off the
tops of standing trees. Persons using the chain-

saw must have read and understood the safety
requirements contained in the operating instruc-
tions, and they must wear appropriate personal
protective equipment (PPE).
The chainsaw must only be operated by persons
who are fully trained for this type of chainsaw. The
user must be trained in all manual chainsaw work
skills. This chainsaw is not intended for use in
other types of applications.
The equipment is to be used only for its prescri-
bed purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a
case of misuse. The user / operator and not the
manufacturer will be liable for any damage or inju-
ries of any kind caused as a result of this.
Please note that our equipment has not been de-
signed for use in commercial, trade or industrial
applications. Our warranty will be voided if the
machine is used in commercial, trade or industrial
businesses or for equivalent purposes.
