9. Operation

• The relay must be in regular operation (red LED lit) and not in programming
mode (yellow LED lit).
• After input of the correct user code, the relay is activated for the programmed
time (see chapter 8. e) and the green LED is lit.
After this time, the relay is deactivated again. The green LED goes out.
If you have set a time of „00" seconds in chapter 8. e), the relay remains active
until you enter a correct user code again.
• If a switching code is programmed, the relay is activated permanently when a
switching code is entered (see chapter 8. i).
Input of the correct user code will not have any effect now. Only when the
switching code is entered again will the relay be deactivated.
• All data is retained when the power supply fails.
After return of the operating power, the left LED flashes alternatingly yellow
and red, the right one flashes green.
After a few seconds, the code lock emits 3 sound signals and the left LED
lights up red (the right, green, LED goes out).
The code lock is then ready for use once again.
We recommend using a redundant power supply for the door lock, so that the
operating voltage (12 V/DC) continues to be present, e.g. through a recharge-
able battery, if power fails; The same applies, of course, for any alarm system
that may be present.
