General maintenance tasks
• Keep protective devices, air vents and the motor
housing as free of dust and dirt as possible. Rub
the device clean with a clean cloth or blow it off with
compressed air at low pressure.
• We recommend that you clean the device directly
after every use.
• Clean the device at regular intervals using a damp
cloth and a little soft soap. Do not use any cleaning
products or solvents; they could attack the plastic
parts of the device. Make sure that no water can
penetrate the device interior.
Long service life of the electric pump
If longer downtimes of the machine (more than 3
months) are planned in rooms where there is a risk
of frost, it is advisable to fill the machine with an anti-
freeze (similar agent as used for vehicles).
If the device has not been used for a long time, lime-
scale builds up in the electric pump, which can lead
to starting difficulties.
