Cleaning the Rotational Airflow Unit and Filter
(see figures E1–F2)
– Hold the dust extractor down slightly as shown so that
dust cannot fall out of the dust container when the dust
extractor is opened.
– Press the release button (2) and remove the dust
container (6) from the motor housing (5) (see figure E1).
– Hold onto the filter grips (15) and pull the rotational air-
flow unit (17) with the filter (16) out of the dust
container (6) (see figure E2).
– Shake out the dust container (6) and the rotational air-
flow unit (17) over a suitable waste bin (see figure E3).
– Put the rotational airflow unit (17) and filter back in the
dust container (6).
– Push the locking tab (18) up and remove the filter (16)
(see figures F1–F2).
– Gently tap the filter against a solid surface to loosen the
dust. Replace any damaged filters.
– Insert the cleaned filter (16) into the rotational airflow
unit (17).
– Attach the dust container (6) at the bottom in the motor
housing (5). Apply slight pressure to the dust container to
allow it to click into place in the motor housing.
Storage (see figure G)
You can use the wall bracket (19) (accessory) to save space
when storing the dust extractor and extractor accessories.
Faults
Regularly empty the dust container (6) and coarse dirt
filter (1) and regularly clean the rotational airflow unit (17)
and filter (16) for optimum suction power.
If the suction power is insufficient, check:
– Is the dust container (6) full?
▷ Empty the dust container.
– Is the coarse dirt filter (1) clogged with dust?
▷ Empty the coarse dirt filter.
– Is the rotational airflow unit (17) or the filter (16) clogged
with dust?
▷ Clean the rotational airflow unit and the filter.
– Is the capacity of the rechargeable battery (4) insuffi-
cient?
▷ Charge the rechargeable battery.
If sufficient suction power is not achieved after following
these steps, please contact a Bosch customer service agent.
