2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance.
Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
• Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage
stated on the rating label of the appliance and that the wall
outlet is grounded.
• This appliance is intended for household use only.
• Do not cover the air inlet or outlet openings while the
appliance is operating.
• Place the appliance at a minimum distance of 90 cm from
flammable objects, walls or other structures.
• Unplug the product while not in use and before cleaning or
maintenance.
• Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the cord is
damaged, it must be replaced by the official Technical Support
Service of Cecotec in order to avoid any type of danger.
• Turn off and unplug the appliance from the mains supply
when not in use and before cleaning it. Pull from the plug,
not the cord, to disconnect it from the outlet.
• Avoid the use of an extension cord as this may overheat and
cause a risk of fire.
• Make sure that the cord is fully extended before use and
arrange it so that it is not in contact with any part of the heater.
• The product's surface might reach high temperatures
during operation. Hold the heater only by the handle in
order to move it.
• Turn the appliance off before unplugging it from the power
supply and make sure your hands are dry before touching
the appliance.
• The use of attachments or accessories not recommended
or sold by Cecotec may cause personal or property hazards
or injuries.
• Do not place the product immediately below a power socket.
• Remove any flammable materials (e.g., petrol, solvents,
spray canisters etc.) or other easy combustible materials
(e.g., wood or paper) from the room where the appliance is
placed in order to avoid risk of fire.
• Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any non-removable part
