CLEANING AND CARE

CAUTION
Risk of burns! All cleaning and maintenance work may only be
carried out when the gas grill has cooled down and the connection to
the gas cylinder has been disconnected.
• It is recommended to have the gas grill serviced by a competent technician at least
once a year. Do not attempt to service the appliance yourself.
• Let the grill „burn down" after each use (for approx. 15 minutes) to reduce food
residues on the grill grid to a minimum.
Cleaning the outer surfaces
• Use a mild detergent or baking powder and hot water. A non-abrasive scouring
powder can be used for stubborn soiling. Then rinse with clear water.
• If the inner surface of the grill cover looks like peeling paint, grease residues have
formed. Clean them with hot soapy water. Then rinse the affected areas with clear
water and let them dry completely.
Note: Never use oven cleaner.
Cleaning the inner surfaces
Remove food residues with a brush, scraper and/or cleaning pad and then wash with
soapy water. Rinse with clear water and allow to dry.
Cleaning the plastic surfaces
Rub the plastic surfaces with a soft cloth and a hot soap solution. Rinse with clean water.
Do not use abrasive detergents, grease solvents or a highly concentrated grill cleaner.
