pROGRAM SElECTION

If your hearing system features a push button integrated into the
battery compartment lid, you can select from up to 6 different hear-
ing programs, depending on the model.
You can switch between the different hearing programs simply by
pressing the program button. You will also hear signal tones that
provide acoustic confirmation of the switch to a new program. Ask
your hearing system specialist for details and refer to the overview
on page 41. With selected hearing systems, the program can also
be changed by means of optional remote controls. Your hearing
system specialist will be happy to provide you with further infor-
mation.

VOlUME CONTROl
by means of a volume control knob (aumea)
If your hearing system has a volume control knob, use this to
adjust the volume. Increase the volume by lightly pressing the
volume control knob and turning it forwards with the tip of your
index finger. Turn the knob backwards to turn the volume down.
wIth the Push button (sIna/vega wIth wIreless
functIonalIty)
Your hearing system specialist can program hearing systems with
wireless functionality so that the volume control function is oper-
ated with the push button. In this case, proceed as follows: Press
the push button of one hearing system briefly to increase the vol-
ume. Press the push button of the other hearing system briefly to
reduce the volume. To see how the volume control is distributed
over both sides, refer to the overview on p. 41.
automatIcally
With these systems, the amplifier automatically adjusts to the
hearing situation and regulates the volume. This protects the ear
from volumes that are too loud. The volume cannot be adjusted
manually. When fitting your hearing system, your hearing system
specialist will have already set it so that it corresponds to your per-
sonal hearing perception.
With selected hearing systems, it is also possible to adjust the vol-
ume by means of optional remote control units. Please direct any
questions you may have on this option to your hearing system spe-
cialist.
