10. Always unplug the charger before cleaning or carrying out any other maintenance on it.
11. Do not attempt to charge the battery pack in temperatures of below 10 degrees or above 40

12. The air vents on the battery charger must be kept unblocked.
13. The battery pack must not be short-circuited.

When an apparatus short-circuits, the strength of the electric current is increa-
sed. This can cause the apparatus to over heat, catch fire or even explode,

causing damage and also endangering the operator.
To avoid this;

Firstly do not connect any wires to the terminals of the battery pack;
•
Ensure that no metal objects (nails, coins, paper-clips) are caught in the opening of the
battery pack;

Do not expose the battery pack to water or rain.
14. If the battery pack is broken or can no longer be re-charged it must be properly disposed of.

15. Never throw the battery pack into water or a fire – it may explode.
3. GENERAL USE

•
This pump is NOT designed for continuous operation e.g. as a swimming pool or pond

circulation pump.
•
This pump is waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes
•
Ensure there are no obstructions around the inlet openings around the base of the pump.

The inlet openings must be clear of mud or sludge at the bottom of a pool.
•
After use allow the pump to run using clean water for 2 - 3 minutes in order to remove
residues and particles that may have accumulated in the pump and outlet hose.

Use only for pumping clean water.
Running dry will destroy the pump. Immediately stop the pump when there's
no water left to pump (push the switch).
Note: If the level of water becomes to low, any sludge in the shaft will dry out more quickly and
this may prevent the pump from restarting. To ensure the pump works efficiently the bottom of
the shaft must be kept free of sludge as far as possible and cleaned on a regular basis when not
in use.
Blockages
If you suspect the pump has become blocked, remove the battery out of the pump:
•
Examine the hose and base plate.
•
Check if there's a kink in the hose.
•
Clean the hose and water inlet.

13. Batteriet må ikke kortsluttes.
Når et apparat kortsluttes, øges strømstyrken. Det kan resultere i, at apparatet
overophedes, antændes eller endog eksploderer, hvilket kan resultere i beska-
digelse af apparatet og personskade.
Følgende skal undgås:
•
Der må ikke tilsluttes ledninger til batteriets poler.
•
Sørg for, at der ikke kommer metalgenstande (søm, mønter, papirclips) i åbningen på
batteriladeren.
•
Batteriet må ikke udsættes for vand eller regn.
14. Hvis batteriet går i stykker eller ikke længere kan oplades, skal det bortskaffes korrekt.
15. Batteriet må ikke kastes i vand eller ild, da det herved kan eksplodere.
Pumpen skal gennemskylles med rent vand, hver gang den har været brugt.
3. ALMINDELIG BRUG
•
Denne pumpe er IKKE beregnet til uafbrudt drift, f.eks. som cirkulationspumpe i en dam
eller et svømmebassin.
•
Kontroller, at der ikke er forhindringer omkring indløbsåbningerne omkring pumpens
bundplade. Indløbsåbningerne skal være fri for mudder og slam på bassinets bund.
•
Efter brug skal pumpen køre med rent vand i 2 - 3 minutter, så rester og småpartikler i
pumpen og udløbsslangen fjernes.
Anvend kun pumpen til pumpning af rent vand.
Pumpen ødelægges ved at løbe tør. Stop pumpen med det sammen, når der
ikke er mere vand at pumpe (tryk på kontakten).
Bemærk: Hvis vandstanden bliver for lav, tørrer slam i akslen hurtigere, så pumpen måske
ikke kan starte igen. For at sikre, at pumpen kan arbejde mere effektivt, skal det nederste af
akslen så vidt muligt holdes fri for slam, og den skal rengøres jævnligt, når den ikke bruges.
Blokage
Hvis du har mistanke om at pumpen kan være blokeret, skal du fjerne batteriet fra pumpen:
•
Undersøg slangen og basepladen.
•
Check om der er bugt på slangen.
•
Rengør slangen og vandindløbet.
