3 Installation
3.1 Freestanding tank
3.1.1 Procedure overview
The installation must be carried out in the following order:
Drill penetration hole near to the service access cover.
Screw bracket for sensor onto the outlet structure (use drilling template).
Attach sensor.
Pull the sensor cable through the cable duct and connect to the control unit.
Carry out a functional check

Securely tighten cable gland to avoid odour release.
Spot-drill the tank in a suitable place near to the service
access cover and cut in M16x1.5 thread.
Thread the probe cable through the nut.
Screw in the cable gland (M16).
Tighten the nut.
3.1.3

Installing the sensor

In case of freestanding grease separators, the sensor must
be mounted on the outlet structure. The EasyClean free
grease separators have a stop with prefabricated retainer
openings for the screws.
In case of outlet structures with special dimensions, addi-
tional instructions must be taken into consideration (see
next section)!
Screw the hexagon screws into the prefabricated retain-
ers. The screw heads should protrude from the stop by
approx. 2-fingers wide.
Clip the sensor onto the bracket as illustrated.
Fasten the two fixing parts on to the two bottom clips so
that the sensor can only be moved horizontally.
Hook the bracket with sensor into the two slotted holes.
Tighten the hexagon screws, if necessary, so that the
bracket can be removed without effort but has only small
clearance.
