CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

IMPORTANT: BEFORE CARRYING OUT ANY MAINTENANCE, MAKE SURE THAT THE STEAM CLEANER HAS COOLED
DOWN COMPLETELY.
Emptying the water tank
1. Unplug the power cord and make sure that the appliance has cooled down sufficiently.
2. Release the water tank from the main part of the steam cleaner.
3. Remove the water tank cap.
4. Pour the remaining water out of the water tank. Put the cap back on the water tank and attach it to the steam
cleaner.
Removing and cleaning the textile cover
1. Unplug the power cord and make sure that the appliance has cooled down sufficiently.
2. If necessary, first remove the carpet glider and then remove the textile cover from the floor nozzle.
3. Wash the textile cover in the washing machine at a maximum of 40 °C and use a mild detergent.
IMPORTANT: Never use bleach or fabric softener to wash microfibre covers.
Replacing the hard water filter
The steam cleaner is equipped with a hard water filter. If you live in an area with hard water, the filter will colour
over time. Depending on the water hardness and frequency of use of the cleaner, the filter should be replaced every
6 months.
1. Unplug the power cord and make sure that the appliance has cooled down sufficiently.
2. Release the water tank from the main part of the steam cleaner.
3. Remove the water filter from the steam cleaner. Replace the old filter with a new one.
4. Put the water tank back in the steam cleaner.
NOTE: The condition of the filter will affect the performance of the appliance.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If there is a problem with the appliance, consult the following check list before contacting a service centre.
Steam nozzle does not produce steam.
• There may be no water in the water tank.
• The water tank may be incorrectly inserted into the appliance body.
The textile cover does not capture dirt.
• The textile cover may be dirty and needs to be washed before further use. See chapter Cleaning and maintenance.
FAQS ABOUT CLEANING
When is the steam nozzle ready for use? In approximately 30 seconds.
Can I use the steam nozzle on all types of floors? It can be used on all hard floors made of marble, ceramic, stone,
linoleum, wood and parquets.
Does the steam nozzle produce steam automatically? Yes, it starts to produce steam automatically when it heats up.
Can I add detergents or other chemicals to the water tank? No, you would damage the whole appliance.
What should I do if I live in a city with very hard water? You can use filtered water or replace filters more often. If there
is only a weak current of steam coming out of the nozzle, check the steam nozzle opening for clogging caused by limescale.
When is the right time to replace the filter? How do I know? It depends on the hardness of the water. Usually after
6 months. You may notice that the colour yellow inside of the filter cartridge has faded slightly.

How long will a tank full of clean water last before it needs to be refilled? Approximately 18 minutes of continuous
hot steam operation.
Can I wash the mop? Yes, you can hand-wash it or wash it in a washing machine at a maximum of 40 °C. Use a mild
detergent, do not use bleach or fabric softener.
How often should I replace the mop? That depends on several different factors, but mainly on the hardness of the floor.
The best way to know when is the right time to replace a mop is if the mop remains dirty after washing, or if you notice
that it no longer works as well as it did at the beginning.
SERVICE
Extensive maintenance or repair, which requires access to internal parts of the product, has to be performed by
a qualified specialist or the service centre.

• Packaging materials and old appliances should be recycled.
• Packaging materials may be disposed of as sorted waste.
• Dispose the plastic bags made of polyethylene (PE) of as sorted waste.
