10. Instructions for the replacement / disposal of the
engine

10.1 Instructions for replacing the engine

If it is necessary to replace / dispose of the motor, please proceed as
follows:
Danger of crushing parts of the body
Perform assembly on the drive in the lying position of the bed (fully
lowered). Only in this position will the danger of crushing parts of the body
be avoided.
For functions without mains electrical reset: Disconnect block battery.
1) If the motors are not in the installation position (upper and lower part
lowered), connect the mains plug and confirm with buttons 2 and 6 on the
remote control and set the rack to the installation position.
2) For safety reasons, please disconnect the mains plug again.
3) To disassemble the motor, pull the buckles (A) fully sideways using a little
force. Now we have access to the fitting (B) of fittings / pipes (D).

4) Set it in the correct position for the method of use. Pay attention to the
markings on the back side and on the legs.
