6.2 Electric start

Do not pull on the cord of the power plug so as not to disconnect it from the
socket.
- Use only the country-approved power cord. Pay attention to the ends of the
plug.

Use only the accessories delivered with the continental bed to control the
drive.

Electrical components may only be connected and disconnected when the
plug is disconnected! Note: Even with the plug pulled out, residual electricity
may remain!
- Battery emergency lowering is not a safety system in the sense of
preventing danger.

Perform any assembly on the drive in the lying position of the bed. Only in
this position can the risk of crushing body parts be completely avoided.

6.3 Hand switch

1) The switch must be connected to the socket provided for this purpose. The
spiral cable must be positioned so that it is not subject to any loads.
2) Arrange the cables in such a way as to avoid crushing and damaging them.
3) If the cable is damaged, pull the plug out of the socket immediately!
