6.4 Security system
The bed is fitted with a self-resetting electric safety device to prevent
overloading of the drive. The bed switches off automatically in the event of a
very high overload.
6.5 Time of activation / breaks in work
Due to its design, the drive is to operate intermittently. Intermittent
operation means that after a certain maximum operating time
(maximum continuous operation time of 2 minutes) it is necessary to
stop the drive in order not to overheat. Excessive heating can, in
extreme cases, lead to failure.
7. Cleaning and care
7.1 Electric shock / fire and failure hazard
-
Disconnect the power supply when cleaning electrical appliances.
-
Do not allow liquid to enter the interior of the motor-drive.
-
Be careful not to damage the drive cable while cleaning.
7.2 Regular maintenance
-
Regularly remove dirt, dust, lint, crumbs etc. from the upholstery.
7.3 Removing stains
-
Stains are best removed as soon as they appear. It is important to gently
wipe any spilled liquid immediately with an absorbent paper towel or cloth -
do not rub! - so that it cannot penetrate deep into the fabric.
-
Wait until the cleaned surface is completely dry (do not use a hair dryer).
Then gently brush the clean, dry surface.
